The Chicago Police soccer team wins the the Sgt. Kracher Classic by beating St. Louis Unsung Heroes 7 - 0, Columbus Police 7-1 and the Chicago Fire Department 4-2. CPD would like to thank St. Louis, Columbus and CFD for participating and in honoring a great Soccer Man and Police Officer Sgt. Frank Kracher.

The Sgt. Frank Kracher Classic Indoor Soccer Tournament which will feature only Police/Fire teams from Columbus Police, St. Louis Police/Fire,  Chicago Fire Department and is hosted by the Chicago Police Soccer Team in a one day round robin tournament.  The tournament is named after deceased Chicago Police Sgt. Frank Kracher a member of United States and Illinois Soccer Hall of Fames.

The Chicago Police continued their undefeated streak vs the CFD as they won it PK's. It was started by a great save by Steve Austin in goal then Goals by Horst Fleps, Bob Kellam, Rodrigo Espinoza, Esnuff Husic and Jorge Reyes.
